Private Violin Lessons in Your Home

Our private violin lessons focus heavily on proper instrument technique as well as musicianship. Students receive instruction on how to hold the instrument and bow, as well as proper playing methods to avoid serious wrist, hand and shoulder injuries that can occur from repeatedly poor technique.

Our violin teachers are very familiar with popular beginning string method books and the string program in public elementary schools in Irvine. We are able to work alongside what your child is learning in school if they are involved in a group class.

Scales and other technical studies are always included in lessons because they are an important part of developing excellent technique on the violin.

All students taking violin lessons are invited (but not required) to perform in recitals regardless of level or age.

In Home Private Violin Lessons

30 minutes/week: $200/month (Amy Cote only)
45 minutes/week: $150-$250/month (varies by instructor)
60 minutes/week: $180-$300/month (varies by instructor)

In Studio Violin Lessons

Amy now has a studio on Jamboree & Richter in Irvine where lessons are available.

30 minutes/week: $150/month
45 minutes/week: $200/month
60 minutes/week: $250/month
