About Lessons with Allie

Allie's philosophy as a voice and piano teacher is to help her students grow into better thinkers, feelers, and believers. She gives her singing & piano students the opportunity to have fun making music while also encouraging hard work and practice and gaining confidence!

Allie has worked with children for the past five years, and has experience both with young children and students with special needs. She is currently finishing her Bachelors degree in Vocal Performance at Cal State Fullerton.

Outside of her studies, Allison sings professionally for church services, weddings, and as a guest jazz vocalist with the Bay Area's De Anza Daddios big band. She has received numerous awards and scholarships from her classical training and was granted “best vocalist” award for her pop style chamber arrangements and performances.

In her spare time, Allison writes her own original indie/acoustic and jazz music. She also enjoys the outdoors, reading, and spending any spare moment at the beach!
