Private Guitar Lessons

Guitar lessons can be taken on electric guitar,bass guitar, classical guitar, or acoustic guitar! Guitar students learn the fundamentals of music including chord notation, as well as proper playing methods.

Lesson length varies from 45-60 minutes. Lesson Curriculum includes Note Reading, Sight Reading, Scales, Technique, Musicianship, Music Theory, and Music History. The methods used vary depending on the teacher, but we are familiar with the popular methods, such as Mel Bay. Each teacher has their own individualized teaching style.

Semi Private and Group Guitar Lessons

Guitar is a great instrument to play with others. Taking semi-private lessons (2 people per lesson) or group lessons (3+ people) is another way to explore the instrument while socializing with others.

Guitar Lessons In Your Home

Currently, we only offer music lessons in the homes of students. You must have an instrument available at your home to practice with before beginning lessons. For more information on purchasing a guitar, please click here.

All students taking guitar lessons are invited (but not required) to perform in recitals regardless of level or age.
